HOW TO LEARN TO LOVE YOURSELF!
We talk about self-care a lot nowadays, which is music to my ears, however to be able to care for yourself, you need to love yourself too. The little things we do for ourselves each day need to be a ritual, something that you practise in the same way that you brush your teeth and comb your hair. As part of Stress Awareness Month (1-30 April 2022), our lovely Stacy Mann has shared with us her Top Tips for self-love.

- Tip One – Stacy's Top Tips for Self-love.
Set aside some time to be by yourself, do something that makes you feel good. Enjoy your own company. She had never enjoyed being by herself, and felt she always needed someone with her to make her better. By gradually implementing just a few minutes per day, she can now spend the whole day by herself with ease.
- Tip Two – Stacy's Top Tips for self-love.
Start a journal. Write about your hopes, your dreams, your feelings, your fears. It's a great way to let go of negative stuff and also amazing to look back to see how you triumphed in tough times.
- Tip Three - Stacy’s Top Tips for self-love.
Who doesn't love a good 'to do' list? They’re a great way of keeping track of all of your things that need doing right. But why not swap your “To Do List” for a “Ta Da List” (ta da traditionally being the noise we make when we scratch something off the to do). Write down your wins, however small. Visualising your achievements is a great way to fall in love with you again!

Try some mirror work. Look at yourself in the mirror and say out loud 'I forgive you for...... ' and 'I am proud of you for.... ' . It can be quite emotional to do this but sometimes we are carrying baggage we did not know was there.

Visualise your goals. Make a vision board or poster that focuses on your dreams. Add some positive words about yourself and place it where you can see it daily. You are worthy. You are of value to this world.
By using these tips that the wonderful Stacy has shared with us, you will start to fall in love with yourself again, and therefore you should notice a difference in your stress levels.
